Author Profile: Ava Faraj

Hi! My name is Ava Faraj and I am an editor for STEMi. I am currently studying Biomolecular Science at the University of Michigan, a field that allows me to pursue my intrigue in life sciences- whether it be the billions of cells hard at work in our bodies, or the creation of life itself. My childhood was spent hunting, fishing, and exploring outdoors with my grandfather, where I always tried to fill my brain with as many of his facts as I could, excited to relay them to anybody who would listen. Although I don’t watch as much National Geographic now, I remain captivated by the sciences that make up our every day, and hope to share such interests with future scientists through STEMi!
